On January 8th, 2007, Sinopec overseas senior talents logistics and procurement course opened in Sinopec management institute. The course will be lasted for one month and be taught in English. There are 32 participants in the class come from Sinopec international engineering company, international exploration company, emerging companies and some oil fields. Steve Hawks, the instructor, is US transportation and logistics association AST& L’s vice-president and once worked in Kerr-Mcgee Oil Company as a logistics senior manager. Now he is teaching logistics and supply chain management courses at University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma City University.
