On December 7th 2010, CNOOC Monitor&Supervisor Corporation Deepwater Shipping Equipment Training started in CNOOC Building of Tanggu in Tianjin, in which more than 20 staffs from CNOOC Monitor&Supervisor Corporation participated. This training session invited expert from ABS Consulting for lecturing, while the content was mainly on deepwater drill ship, centring on the history, specific classification and future developing tendency of deepwater drill ship as well as specific illustration on conventional deep water drill ship and relevant equipment. Besides, the instructor also shared the accident report on the Gulf of Mexico Deepwater Horizon with trainees.

Through this session, trainees got a better understanding on deepwater drill ship and equipments, had a more profound perception on deepwater well control equipment and its importance, thus they tended to be quite satisfied with both the instructor and course arrangement.
