The Sinopec North China Division study tour in Australia finished successfully on Dec. 16th, 2011. The study tour was commenced on Dec. 7th, lasted for 10 days. During the tour, the team visited the Texaco Company in Sydney, and the Woodside Petroleum Company which headquarters is in Perth. They had effective communications and opinion exchanges with those companies, especially in the field of HSE production. Through the field visit and meetings. The team extensively listened to the experience and views on the aspects of HSE Management put forward by the companies.

In addition, participants accepted 3 days training in the IFAP in Perth. Except for the indoor HSE training in IFAP training centre, there was also on-site training in the IFAP Fremantle training centre. The participants experienced and gained the understanding of safety design of offshore platform, and the application of lifesaving apparatus. These two kinds of training combined the theory with practice, and achieved a good learning effect.

This study tour achieved good learning and exchange effect in such a short period. It reflected and improved the trend and concepts of international HSE management of Sinopec North China Division. This study tour had constructive and instructive significance for the HSE production in Sinopec.
