The 14-day Drilling Technology, Drilling Fluids and Completion training program sponsored by PetroChina Iraq branch began on Oct 25th, 2012 and was successfully completed on Dec 8th, 2012. 11 participants from different departments of MOC were gathering in Istanbul, Turkey to attend this training session delivered by Egyptian senior instructor Fayez Makkar, who has decades of working experience in this field.

The instructor has been delivering knowledge about drilling rig specification, process, directional and horizontal drilling, casing design, drilling fluid, well control, cementing and completion. The course was delivered in Arabic according to the actual situation of all the participants and they all express that they have learned a lot through this training course.
