The drilling technology training for CCDC had already been finished between 5th to 19th December in Houston, America. Representatives from university, principals from our side and all the trainees attended the opening ceremony. After a brief introduction, the training was officially started.

This training lasted for 15 days, it is consisted of two parts, one is theory training and the other is enterprise visit. 10 trainees who worked as trainers in CCDC had attended this training. The theory training involved derrick man's post responsibility and basic skills, the study of internal training system of American petroleum industry and how to master the trainer's skills and techniques. The enterprises visit involved NEXT training center, BP/Chevron training center, Wild Well Control training center, PetroSkills training center and TEEX.

The instructor of this CCDC training has rich teaching and on-site experience. The interaction and atmosphere in the classroom was great and the courses with practicability received positive feedbacks from the trainees. The organizations visited by the group are all internal training centers owned by large-scale enterprise or famous institutions. Everyone from the group was impressed by the complete training facilities, senior instructors as well as continuously improving training courses.

With the trainees’ cooperation and the mutual efforts of the organizers and the co-organizers, the training was a big success.
