On May 6, 2013, the first phase of the IADC open class was held in Beijing. Since 1940, the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) has exclusively represented the worldwide oil and gas drilling industry. IADC is dedicated to enhancing the interests of the oil-and-gas and geothermal drilling and completion industry worldwide. There are 10 participants take part in it. They are field service engineers from Shell, mostly engaged in fracturing. The instructor, who has worked on well control more than 20 years, has rich experience in the well control training for the name-brand enterprises at home and abroad. The course language is Chinese. It will last for 5 days. The course outline mainly include drilling、workover & completion、wireline and snubbing.Well Control Certificate issued by IADC will be issued after successfully completion of training facilitated by Petromentor. In this training, the instructor has rich experience, explain questions for students which they don’t understand in order to achieve maximum teaching effectiveness.Students have a high enthusiasm for learning, they can actively take the initiative to preview, concentrate on the lecture class and actively participate in classroom interaction.
