From June 30 to July 9, the CNOOC mineral right management training was implemented in Perth, Australia. There were 14 trainees from CNOOC Exploration Department and its 10 affiliated companies took this course. During the training, Petromentor arranged 7 very experienced teachers to teach this course intensively, which involved in the Australian mineral right legal system, management pattern, fiscal policy, land policy, regulatory framework, cross-border structure or overlapping mineral right, mineral right management experience, exploration and development incentives and the relations with government. Petromentor also organized a visiting in DMP (Department of Mines and Petroleum) for the trainees, letting the trainees discussed about the training topics with the experts in DMP. The training helped a lot in improving trainees’ management level of oversea mineral right.
