The training closely integrated both theoretical and practical skills in well control mission of the project department, especially carried on systematic international well control aimed at the technical requirements and regulations of BP. The trainees learned the knowledge of well control and get the IADC international well control certificate. Also they strengthened their professional skills and gained advanced international method and practice in well control management.

The training course was instructed by experienced Canadian-Chinese experts Zuo Jianmin who has over 10 years international drilling experience on-site. Mr. Zuo introduced the knowledge and actual operation on site of well control combined his actual case which greatly attracted the attention and fully mobilized the enthusiasm of the trainees. It also allowed the trainees to participate in the cases and comprehend the method, the current international well control process and system fully.

The training had been welcomed by the trainees and the leaders of project department especially the combinations of the training content and the actual project. It improved the technology and management level in the well control of the trainees and met the requirements of BP in management. Everyone expect more on-site training in the future.
