From Sep. 10th to Sep. 25th, Jilin Oilfield low permeability oil & gas training program was conducted in Houston, America. 16 trainees participated in this program. 3 experienced teachers was arranged to talk about topics such as low permeability reservoir characteristics and evaluation techniques, low-permeability reservoir development practical skills and low permeability reservoir development engineering technology. The key point of these three courses was drilling & completion techniques and stimulation technology. After the ending of this program, our trainees said that they learned a lot of international cutting-edge technology and ideas and the journey was very fruitful.

In the process of classroom learning, PETROMENTOR also organized a visit of Halliburton Duncan Research Center for the trainees. This team was led by Mr. Soliman who has over 40 years of working experience in fracturing. Our trainees discussed about the questions the met in classrooms with Specialists in Halliburton. Although this is the first cooperation between PETROMENTOR and Jilin Oilfield, PetroChina, all the participants gave a high rating to the qualifications and strengths of PETROMENTOR.
