There were 6 students who come from Sinopec International Exploration and Production Corporation and Power petroleum attend this training which was the first semester IADC training, held in Beijing on May, 5th, 2014.

IADC, established for 45 years, is the only institute that represent the global drilling industry. The training that lasts up to 5 days with Chinese as the teaching language is divided into three parts, the theory knowledge explanation, well control simulator practice and written test. Theory knowledge mainly includes the operation of drilling, well workover, completion, cable, stripping. Kill well and shut well are the primary content of simulator practice of well control.

Trainees who finish the course and pass the test can obtain the certificate issued by IADC. The teacher who has been engaging in the well control training for 20 years and trained the national and foreign famous enterprises amount times is equipped with plentiful experiences on worksite and teaching.

In the process of training, teacher will make further explanation on the question which students are confused and interested in to achieve the best teaching effects. With the high enthusiasm, students all can preview initiatively before class, concentrate on listening and would like to interact with teacher to ask questions especially in the simulator practice.
