The HSSE training for Kazakhstan Branch (Office) of Sinopec International Exploration and Production Corporation, from Oct.14th to Oct.17th, was held at the Huichunyuan holiday hotel in Beijing. There were 23 trainees, including deputy manager of Kazakhstan, deputy manager of technology engineering department, the minister engineer of HSSE department, deputy manager of QHSE department, and other new employees on the safety position, attended this training.

The purpose of the training was to enhance new employees’ safety awareness and help older employees for better conducting safety management. During the training, Petromentor arranged the instructor who processed plentiful experiences of on-site management in oil industry and also equipped with abundant practical experiences and theory knowledge to be the trainer. The four-day curriculum were mainly consisted of hazard identification and risk evaluation, accidents investigation and root cause analyses, safety culture and DuoPont philosophy, safety leadership and execution

After the completion of training, the deputy manager of Kazakhstan said that they gain a lot through this training, the safety awareness has been enhanced not only for the employees, not in the safety position, but also for the employees of engaging on the safety position, who could apply the things they have learnt to the practical work, which could help well conduct on-site safety management. The HR of Kazakhstan branch gave highly praises of the qualification, training ability and training accomplishment of petromentor, which was another break for petromentor in one of the primal departments in SINOPEC market.
