The training, 11 days from Sep.2rd to Sep.12th, about the exploration method of the formation lithology trap, for CNOOC completed successfully in America. There were over 20 trainees, senior supervisors and technical backbones from CNOOC Group Company and its affiliates.

The training was design into two parts, classroom learning and field geological survey. The classroom courses was taught by the Jeff, the expert from Chinese American Petroleum Association. The field geological survey courses taught by Chuck, the experts from Chevron. These two experts, who have high influence in the industry, all processes over 30 years practical experiences.

During the training, petromentor also organized the trainees to go to Colorado School of Mines and the school of earth science and resource and do exchanges, and also visit their research laboratories.
