Oct 31st to Nov 16th 2015, Petromentor launched oil E&P project management training for CNPC foreign department in oil city Aberdeen in Scotland, UK. The training is 17 days in total, 23 staff from CNPC and branch oilfield companies attended this program.

During the training, lecturers from the University of Aberdeen, BP, Massachusetts Institute of Technology have presented lectures covering overview of E&P project management, BP project management practices, project economics and risk management. Lecturers explained the content with case study and way doing things in real situation and discussions are organized to help students understand comprehensively. By 17 days of studying, they had better understanding of program management and inspired by the real cases. This studying abroad experience is very helpful for their future career.

Besides the training program, Petromentor has arranged schedule efficiently, we had our students visited Wood Group with business consulting. Employees from wood group have presented business management experience and examples. This visit helped students understand the lectures better and expand students’ horizon at the same time. With all the experience they gained during this course, they will perform better in their future career.
