From January 12, 2016 to January 25th , Petrochina coalbed methane company limitedunconventional oil & gas training organized by Petromentor International Education (Beijing)Co.,Ltd.ended succesfully in Houston,America. The training for a total of 14 days ,the 8 participants of this training are from Petrochina coalbed methane company limited.

New year, new beginning, new technology and new prospect. In the training at Houston University, gas drive technology, drilling and completion technology,fracturing technique three topics coverd by the expert lecturer, the instructor takes the case analysis and the practice instance as the guide to carry on the depth explanation to the course content.The latest research results and technical progress of unconventional oil and gas are shown to the students. In the class, students interact with lecturers actively and had a discussion where students learned a lot about the course. The students combined with the courses and work experience and have a further understanding of unconventional oil and gas well drilling, prospecting and fracturing technique. This study gave the students great inspiration and encouragement ,from which students learned a lot as well and have great guidance and reference for the future work.

In addition to the training courses,the training group made full use of the opportunities, they visited Trican and other business fracturing site and communicated with the site personnel. This visit not only helped students understand the content of the study better and broaden the horizons,but also let the students learned how to put knowledge into practice and accumulate experience for future work.
