The Fracture Structure Interpretation Training for CNPC Tarim Oilfield host by Petromentor came to conclusion on May 26^th, 2016. The 6-day training took place in Zhuhai, Guangdong, 29 personnel from Tarim Oilfield attended the training program.

The instructors from China University of Petroleum, Sun Yat-sen University, Nanjing University and Zhejiang University offered more than 10 lectures, with topics including Fracture Concept, Fracture Mechanics, Structure Modeling Origin and Concept, Extensional Tectonics & Inverted Structure, Salt-related Structure Modeling, Strike Slip Fault Seismic Interpretation. In the course, the instructors combined the theory with the actual geology situation and performed the analysis. Besides, the instructor also shared some real case regarding the exploration and development, with the students, discussed the solution.

Through the training, the students gained both the theoretical and practical knowledge about fracture fault, which would support their future work.
