This course provides a series of advanced project management on international petroleum engineering concepts, features, tools, theory and practical technology. The contents of training is based on international PMP, and adds lots of contents and cases that about the management of petroleum engineering. This is the only project management course that can be applied to the oil industry. Training methods include slides show, case studies, group discussions, and work data analysis. In the training process, there will be a number of case studies every day to help students understand and master what they have learned. These cases are typical business cases, and are derived from SHELL, BP and other well-known multinational companies. Participants joint in the group discussion, make analysis and solve the problems presented, and do the concluding presentation in the end.

There are more than 200 people who are from Sinopec International Engineering Company, the International Exploration and Development Company, as well as every field unit attended the training course. Course Overview
The course is provided by foreign experts who worked in Shell for two years. Course content covers: general description of project management, oil and gas exploration and development project management review, project management tools, project economics, health, safety and environment, project operation and maintenance, project stakeholder management. In consideration of the fact that students have different job positions and have different professional backgrounds. Therefore, the selection of course outline refers to Shell's project management course syllabus, and made appropriate adjustments in order to enable students to accept more easily. This course has a very good guidance for improving the professional skills of technicians as well as people in charge of overseas oil engineering project management.
