It is inconceivable that there is no PTW management in oil & gas industry. There are many definitions for PTW; however, it is essentially a formal tool for planning, communication, coordination and authorization which aims at non-routine tasks. How to implement this “simple” tool? There are lots of areas that need expertise in terms of both strategic conception level and operational level. Lack of deficient PTW management is one of the direct causes that lead to many major incidents. This course introduces in detail of knowledge related to Permits to Work (PTW).
